Cousin Kaylynn Comes to Visit

Sunday afternoon cousin Kaylynn came over for some playtime. She had lots of fun giving Caleb kisses and bringing him all of his favorite toys.

One Hot Momma

Well.....I finally did it!! I cut my hair. I have been wanting to do this for over a year. However, due to my pregnancy I held off until after I had Caleb. I am excited! This is the first time ever I have had short hair. So far I like it! However, I am sure I will miss my long hair. No more ponytails for me for awhile. I can't believe how much more hair I feel like I have with it this length. It feels much thicker!

Weekend Adventure

This past weekend we were able to go visit our friend Danna. For lunch one day we ended up at one of our favorite places, In-N-Out, yummy. The woman that took our order surprised us with a hat for Caleb. He had his first double-double, and washed it down with a Coke. A least that's what we told him he was eating.

Caleb at 5 Months

Caleb is now just over five months old and has finally learned how to sleep. Things are going much better now that he takes naps most days and sleeps most of the night, usually until five in the morning. Although it's only been a week so we still wonder each night if he'll really stay asleep.

On Super Bowl Sunday there was a great sunset, seen here.

Caleb's First Bites

Tonight (Wed.) we decided to let Caleb try some "real" food, as real as rice cereal gets. We're not sure if he just liked to chew on the spoon or wanted this new stuff. He sure seemed very interested in grabbing at the spoon and trying to jam it in his mouth. It was nearly impossible to have him eat without his hand on the spoon. Overall I think it was a success, it will be interesting to see if he will continue to enjoy trying new things. Hopefully he won't take after his dad.

You can kind of see that quite a bit ended up on his face but I'm pretty sure he still got something Down.

Happy New Year

Caleb is now just over four months old. He is very curious about everything that he can see or touch. He is currently working on some teeth, trying to bite anything that comes close to his mouth. He has began to sit up for short bits of time. If his hands get in the right place he can stay upright for quite some time. As soon as he wants to try and grab something to chew on he usually looses it. In this picture he is with his favorite toy, the elephant with rattly feet.
We hope that everyone is enjoying the beginning of the new year.

What a busy December it has been. Christine graduated with her masters degree and recieved her hood from Fresno Pacific University. Although she finished school early in the summer she had to wait until the December graduation to "walk".

Along with Christmas time comes Christines birthday. Caleb didn't know what to make of all the presents. He tried to help mom but I'm not sure that he did much of that.

Christmas Eve we all dressed up and went to the candle light service at the Reedley Menonite Church. After that we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Fridolfs house for dinner. That night Caleb decided he would get up every hour and a half to check and see if Santa had come yet. What a treat it was for mom and dad.

As it turns out Santa did manage to make the rounds. We think Caleb enjoyed his presents, he hasn't told us otherwise yet.

The whole family got together to celebrate Stephanies birthday while she was in town for Christmas.
